A large travel portal sought to extend its customer base and recruit new potential tourists eager to visit to freshly recognised locations.

 

Solution Offered

We prepared a list of locations with a good potential and to be studied in detail. We analysed these locations and acquired information in order to comprehend the traveler’s expectations and the primary challenges as perceived by the new tourists from India to these geographies.
A rigorous research effort, which included detailed keyword research, competitor research, etc., also provided us with insight into what potential Indian tourists are searching for and their primary pain points.  Exhaustive content – in long form blog formats were prepared to answer each of the  identified pain points for Indian tourists, such as the inability to locate vegetarian or Indian eateries,  different types of stay options according to different needs,  and creating an effective itinerary etc.

Result

The content helped the venture create an attractive thought leadership positioning while driving great value for the new tourists. This helped increase the credibility of the portal and, as well, its searchability among its potential target group. This was reflected in increased revenue from tourists in the identified geographies.
